A 19th Century French Ormolu Multi-Arm Chandelier with Leaves and Flowers. The bulbous body is made up of elongated ormolu bars with ormolu vines, leaves, and flowers branching off them. The multitude of ormolu arms are electrified with a design of a budding flower. The bottom is complete with an ormolu ribbon and the top also consists of an ormolu ribbon. The upper canopy is decorated with stemmed roses and the entire piece is very unusual with an open design and flowers and vines all throughout. The quality and detail of this piece is out of this world, most probably it was a special or a commission for a castel, all hand chiseled in 2 tone burnished and matte gilding.
